“No matter how plain a woman may be, if truth and
honesty are written across her face, she will be beautiful.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
All girls are insecure, they may not show
it, but they are, every girl believes that they have a 'defect' but honestly,
you don't! Every girl is beautiful, no matter what she wears, what she looks
like, or how her body is. Don't worry about that senseless stuff, beauty comes
in all shapes and sizes.

1) STRESS FATTENS
YOU UP
Yes, too much stress, or any stress in general can result in
causing you to put on weight, and may just be one of the reasons you aren't
able to lose it.
Your stress hormones increase your fat storage.
2) FATTY FOODS
DON'T CAUSE YOU TO BE OVERWEIGHT
Believe it or not, there is no such thing as fatty foods. It's all
about your calorie intake, and that's all that matters. It all comes down to
the amount of calories you're eating, so as long as you plan how many calories
you're eating daily, no "fatty foods" actually result in you becoming
overweight.
Yes, unhealthy food has other downsides, but doesn't directly
cause you to become overweight.
3) SLEEP MORE, LOSE
MORE
Yes you read it right. Sleep is actually the cheapest treatment
for losing weight, and assisting towards your weight loss goal.
They say 8 hours sleep is essential, but everyone's bodies work
different - However many hours your body needs; if you are sleep deprived and
not getting enough shut eye this can affect your hormone balance which sends
messages to your brain, decreasing leptin (protein which helps you to feel
full), and increasing ghrelin (enzyme which triggers your hunger). This results
in your body feeling hungry when indeed it isn't and you're overeating.
4) DON'T LIMIT
YOURSELF TO SPECIFIC DIETS
The saying "a balanced diet is the best diet" is
absolutely right.
The media and fitness culture has encouraged health diets to such
an extent that people deprive their bodies from certain foods. You may notice
weight loss through these diets during early stages however limiting your body
to certain foods will result in other illnesses and complications.
5) EAT SMALLER
MEALS
This is something I do often, and people think "I don't
eat", when in reality I probably have the
best regime to losing weight and maintaining my weight, as I am not
overeating, and this routine also controls cravings and hunger. Just be
sure to pick the right foods.
Note this however may not work
for everybody, but tends to works for most people.
6) MIRROR MIRROR EAT THEM ALL...
According to a study, researchers found that eating in front of a mirror causes people to consume less food, as it
makes them more aware of their bodies, and they do not wish to put on
weight.
7) CARBOHYDRATES
AREN'T REALLY FATTENING
High carb foods such as pasta and bread have been said to cause increase in weight gain, but there's no proof it
causes weight gain. Rather it is the amount of calories that result you in
putting on weight. Once again it all comes down to the amount of calories.
8) BURN 100
CALORIES IN A MINUTE
Exercises like jogging in place for a minute or jumping jacks for a minute can help you lose 100 calories there
and then.
9) HONEY BETTER THAN SUGAR?
Although honey has many health benefits, and is overall quite good for you and your body, when it comes to weight loss,
honey contains more calories.
10) CEREAL BARS NOT
BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE
Even though cereal bars may contain nuts and fruits, they also
contain a lot of sugar and glucose-fructose
syrup. Just go through the ingredients and see what works out better for you.
You may find some chocolates contain fewer calories than cereal bars.
